We will finish our tour by walking down the side aisle.

As you walk, you will see some fine stained-glass windows, several from the glassworks of William Morris in England. You can recognise them from their pre-Raphaelite style and use of foliage as decoration. Please take the time to read the inscriptions and enjoy the artwork.

Towards the rear of the Cathedral, you will see a memorial, dated 1907, dedicated to Sarah Maxwell, the Principal of Hochelaga school, who selflessly rescued many of her students when their school went up in flames, before she herself perished in the inferno.

You are now back at the main door.
