Christ Church Cathedral is a multi-ethnic congregation in downtown Montreal, and we are passionate about inclusion. We have entered a process of reviewing our own corporate life, to identify our own history of racism as well as the ways in which our structures systemically exclude people because of their colour. Flying this flag is a symbol of these tasks for justice which we undertake in sorrow and solidarity.

"At Christ Church Cathedral, we are living out a vision of a church focused on the love and generosity embodied in Jesus, a vision that is inclusive, welcoming, open to all and seeking transformation both as individuals as we grow in faith, but also of unjust structures of society. Join us for our music-filled worship and for our many activities, whether you are a lifelong Christian or exploring your faith. You will be made welcome."

The Very Rev’d Bertrand Olivier, Dean
