World Fair Trade Day

Please join us on Sunday 15th May from midday at 1444 Union Avenue, H3A 2B8 (behind Christ Church Cathedral) for a celebration of World Fair Trade Day. We will be screening the Canadian documentary film Traceable, directed by Jennifer Sharpe. Traceable is a documentary set against the backdrop of the fast-fashion industry and our increasing disconnect of where and how clothing is made, and the hands that create a garment. Interviews with traceability experts, intercut with emerging designer Laura Siegel’s journey across India to produce her collection, the film explores our connection to the communities impacted by the products we consume.
