Cathedral Prayer

Gracious God, you have set Christ Church Cathedral in the heart of Montreal to bear witness to the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ.
Bless us in our service of worship, our ministry of music, and in our community service.

May the presence of this Cathedral in our city draw people to worship you in the beauty of holiness.

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord  who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Christian Education

The Cathedral offers programs of Pastoral Care and Christian Education, beginning with Baptism preparation and Sunday School.

For adult members there are many opportunities for study and reflection of the faith, arranged both within the Cathedral, and in conjunction with the resources of the Diocese, the Theological College and the universities of Montreal. Contact a member of the Cathedral Staff for more information.

Cathedral Prayer Partnerships

In our Sunday and weekday liturgy we pray regularly for the parishes of the Diocese of Caledonia in the far west of Canada, as they pray for us. We have also been enriched by exchanges of visits between our parish and the aboriginal Haida community of Old Massett.

In May 2008, during a visit to Cuba by a Cathedral group, we formed a relationship with the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Havana, Cuba. A second trip to Cuba is planned for May 2009.
