Cathedral Sketch by Tex DawsonChrist Church Cathedral stands in the heart of the commercial and shopping centre of Montreal. The imposing neo-Gothic building, completed in 1859, was designed by British architect Frank Wills.

Greetings from the Dean of the Cathedral, The Very Reverend Michael J. Pitts.

Dean Pitts will be retiring at the end of this year. The Parish Search Committee has been constituted and is now at work.

Both in its situation and in its life and teaching the Cathedral tries to represent the faith and tradition of Christianity and Anglicanism, interpreted in and for the modern (and post-modern) world. See Reflections on being a Cathedral in the 21st Century by Dean Pitts.

Music is an integral part of the Cathedral's life. See the Cathedral Music Programme for access to the music offered during the liturgical services and at concerts held in the Cathedral.

Sunday's Service Music

The Cathedral's Choral Evensong service is available live across the Internet every Sunday at 16:00 ET via Radio Ville Marie.
